“ Amazing quality and creativity. Well selected ingredients, carefully combined to generate experience. La croqueta de pollo!!! El helado de crema catalán! Not from this world. And the wine list!! ”
“ A very nice restaurant, good local food and not expensive. Had a fab lunch there. Just walked in and they found a table outside at a nice quiet square ”
“ Set in a calm plaza in the city center. Simple but delicious menu. Staff very kind and courteous, even at the end of the shift. I loved the huge homemade croquetas de pollo. ”
“ Excellent eatery with great service. There's barely 30 covers in the room and it seemed popular. The starters and small dishes were the best of the menu. We got to try almost everything because we had seven people and no dish was bad. The "mains" of octopus is quite small, but the lobster pasta and shrimp crepe large in comparison to the size of the small plate dishes. Favourites were the salads, the bread served with smoked sausage and sardines with red pepper jam. Desserts are vast sharer portions for the €5 price. Common to what we saw in Valencia they seem to like cakey-cake (what we'd serve as a slice for afternoon tea) as opposed to normal dessert style cake. But it was all delicious and served with smooth ice cream. If I had to choose, of the three we had, land of chocolate was the best but I'd happily chuck it in favour of more croquettes! ”
“ A very nice restaurant with great food, a calming atmosphere, and nice and chill on a real burner of a day. ”
“ Excellent Mediterranean restaurant with many delicious shared plates. We went all shared plates and tried many things and loved all of it. The Valencian wine we dranks was great too. Service was friendly and gave good recommendations. There was some seating inside and out...not too busy on a Weds evening, we were able to walk in. Would definitely go back again. ”
“ Unexpectedly delicious. Went there for lunch on my last day having been turned away from my initial place of choice. How lucky I was! All food was very tasty. Be adventurous like me and try, for example, the pork liver. The aubergine vol-au-vent was so delicate. The smoked sardine, apparently a very popular menu item in Valencia, was as good as any other I have tried. The difference is that this one is served on a very crispy cracker of some sort which makes it extra special. The tuna loin was cooked to perfection and the dessert (goat cheese cheesecake) was amazing. All very very good! ”
